My American friends are preparing for a long weekend and my new friends in Australia are happy to see spring on the horizon. In short, it’s going to be a great weekend for everybody!
Mark the Occasion Designs will be taking Monday off to celebrate Labor Day. I hope you’re also taking a little break. Here’s a cocktail recipe perfect for warm weather celebrations. As you can see in the picture, it works just as well with a book and a beach chair as it does at a party.Have a good one!
A Happy Fish
Light and fruity drink perfect for summer! Recipe can easily be multiplied.
Ingredients
- Two cups ice
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 4 oz orange juice or 2 oz orange juice and 2 oz Sprite
- 1 oz light rum
- 1 oz dark rum or aged rum
- Splash grenadine
- Blueberries raspberries, cherries (ah...any fruit you've got on hand!)
Instructions
- Put everything except for the fruit in a large glass.
- Stir!
- Add the fruit and an umbrella. Enjoy!
