I found this picture on a blog post from LuxeFinds.com and knew it was going to be the basis for my next color combination Pinterest board. It may not take a rocket scientist to figure out that red, white and blue would make for a great summer wedding color scheme, but this blog post showcased a glamorous version of this popular combo.The formal linens replace gingham patterns. Thick china makes for a great centerpiece instead of a straw basket. And of course, we love anything that has a Mad Men theme!
I took my inspiration board to a more playful place. There are a couple interesting cakes, including one with a sunprint-like design. How perfect would that be for a late summer night reception?! Sparklers anyone?
Cobalt is one of the most popular colors of the summer, so I included a few dresses that could work for bridesmaids, wedding guests, or even just out on the town. This color seems like it would look good on everyone!
