(Before we get into this month’s color combination, let me remind you about the more Memorial Day appropriate cobalt and ruby color scheme I put together a few months ago. I love that look!)This month was inspired by two things:
1. This picture. I love this tropical look. It makes me think of Cuba in the 1960s…when you got dressed up to travel, but it was still to hot for nylons. LOVE.
2. Sports! In Wisconsin, we love our teams, be it the Badgers, the Brewers, or the Packers. When given those three options, my heart lies with the Brewers, but I couldn’t bring myself to do another blue-based inspiration board. (Can you tell what my favorite color is?)
Wisconsin Packer fans are like no other fan out there (and this is coming from a girl who witnessed countless SEC football games including one in The Swamp!), so I’m guessing green and gold is a popular wedding combination in the state. I classed up the combination by using a metallic gold, a bit of apple green, and lots of the palest ivory.
