Date Night Idea – Gallery Night After Party (Win Tickets!)

Looking for something to do this Friday? Well, look no further than Gallery Night throughout downtown Milwaukee (and nearby surrounding areas). The weather looks like it will cool down a bit, making a stroll through the Third Ward a delightful time. When the galleries close up, be sure to hit up Wedding, a Gallery Night After Party that spoofs a typical wedding. There will be a special exhibit in which Mark the Occasion Designs’ bouquets will be featured. (Read on to win tickets!)

Wedding is an event put on each Gallery Night by Art Milwaukee. The marriage is between the artists where they will literally marry artists, live on canvas to create works of art before the evening is over. Additionally, there will be free food and drinks (as long as they last) and other festivities.

Also, MarriedinMilwaukee.com has sponsored a “Becoming A Bride” exhibit. Guests will learn about hair, makeup, flowers, fashion, photography, accessories and more from some of the top vendors in town: Miss Ruby Bridal Boutique, Mark the Occasion Designs, Belle Fiori, Ltd., Roots Salon (Third Ward), Champagne Studios, LLP and Jaxie.

This Friday’s Wedding will be in the Pfister’s Imperial ballroom, one of my favorite event spaces in the area. It starts at 9pm and goes until 1am. Our bride should be ready for pictures around midnight, the same time I will finish a bouquet that I will create live on site. Come see how the magic happens!
