The last few weeks have been full of new projects and requests for Mark the Occasion Designs. We used a few e-courses to focus so you should start seeing a recurring style coming out of all of our work.
This month that style got more casual and nontraditional – using patterned fabric flower styles and less compact bouquet designs. I can’t wait to hear what you think!
To start, we created a number of summery Bright Spot bouquets perfect for home decor or to dress up your sun-less cubicle. I love these as bedside table decorations in my own home. I even have one in our bathroom!
Additionally, we received a special request for bridesmaid purses for a November bride. The bride also got a purse and a matching hair piece just for her.
Finally, I created a new wedding bouquet design using an open concept vs. the traditional tight, ball shape. I tried a couple new flower ideas, too. Overall, I love this style. I think it would fit an urban, trendy, or untraditional wedding perfectly!
Another bouquet created this month used flowers I’ve created before, but combined new colors together. Grey is the new black, but it’s not black – making it perfect for weddings!
