Well, folks winter is finally upon us. Sigh. I may be a proud Milwaukeean, but I still don’t like the cold. One thing that keeps me from moving somewhere warmer is that the cooler temperatures give us permission to have hot chocolate everyday. Now that this yummy drink is on my daily menu, I think it’s time to plan a party using these delicious colors.
When the picture above (photo credit to The Perfect Pallete) came across my Pinterest, I knew it would be a great starting point for this month’s color inspiration board. Brown and ivory are great base colors, pairing well with pastels, jewel tones, metallics and other neutrals.
The colors can be dressed up or down and used in many different themes.Of course these events should have fantastic desserts. Perhaps including a chocolate fountain or build your own hot cocoa bar.
