Yoga for Foodies Workshops In November

Friends, if you only sign up for one workshop all year, this should be it! I know I’m a little biased, but I can’t think of a better way to approach the holiday binge-eating season than armed with the knowledge from my 90-minute class going on at two branches of the Wisconsin Athletic Club in the next couple of weeks.

Yoga for Foodies Workshop

During the one-time class, you will learn physical movements that will help with digestion and meditation practices to remind you eat mindfully in this season of gluttony.

Don’t let the words “yoga” and “mediation” scare you. We’ll be doing level 1-2 moves, perfect for beginners or those that know their way around a yoga mat. As for the meditation, it’s totally real life. I don’t do “picture yourself on a moonlit mountaintop” at all.

Still not sold? What if I tell you that meditation involves chocolate?! If I get at least five people to sign up for each class I will get truffles from Indulgence Chocolatiers. (Otherwise, it will be grocery store yummies. Still great!)
This class will be 90 minutes and is available at both North Shore and Downtown locations of the WAC. I’ll be at Downtown on Saturday, November 15th from 10:30 – 12 and at North Shore on Sunday, November 23 from 11:30 – 1.

The one time class is $22 for members and $27 for nonmembers.
