Wow, time is flying!! I can’t believe we are almost at the end of May already! I had some fun putting together custom-designed products for some customers and starting the “Everyday Occasion” line for those looking to dress up a Tuesday.
At the Launch Party, I met Becky, the daughter of a good friend, who needed a hairpiece for an upcoming wedding where she would be a guest. She loved this satin and crystal piece that had an alligator clip backing.
Next up, I received a special request after the potential customer heard my Lake Effect interview. She wanted a wrist corsage for her son’s girlfriend for their senior prom. The young woman is very into being eco-friendly, so I was excited that I had vintage fabric that matched her dress perfectly. I was also able to repurpose a crystal shoe clip to add a bit of bling to the bracelet.
I’m finding that ladies like to dress up their hair even on your average day, so these bobby pins have been a hit.
Also, people love everything zippers! These hairbands went in a flash. I also have some zipper flowers with pin backs and alligator clips, but they are going fast, too. I’m scouring thrift stores and garage sales as we speak to get more in inventory.
