Artwork Looking for A New Home

I don’t “get” art. We know this. But I love photography. I don’t “get” it either… I am learning more and more about proper composition of a photograph (thank you, Lisa!), but sometimes it just catches my eye because it’s pretty.

Enter last year’s Lakefront Festival of the Arts silent auction. I was wooed in by the fancy computerized system, this photograph, and a necklace made of chain metal. I ended up winning this piece from Clifton Henri, promptly bringing it home, putting it on a shelf, and moving it to a new house with no wall space to put it on. (And/or Randy finally admitted that he doesn’t really care for the piece.)

Speaking of how to set up a proper photograph… Here’s how NOT to do it. But I can never pass up a corgi smile.

I would love to send the artwork to a good home that will hang it proudly. Clifton Henri is a very talented artist and this photograph seems perfect for an upscale rec room or condo living room. The photo itself is a 11.5″ square. The mat is 16″ X 20″. I paid $75, but it was valued at $150. If you’d like to give me a bit of money, that’s great, but for the most part, I’m just putting this out there in hopes of gaining some good karma. I would ask that you come pick it up if you’re in the area or give me a few bucks for shipping if necessary.
