On A Stormy Sea of Moving Emotion

I’ve known this was coming for months. OK, maybe we only picked a moving date two weeks ago, but I knew it was bound to happen sometime in the near future. (Dear God, I don’t think I could have taken two houses much longer…)

But the bags are not packed.

The walls are not all painted.

We have no kitchen.

We have furniture to sell.

On top of that, the rest of life goes on.

I have another yoga teacher training this weekend. Ironically, it’s on relaxing and pregnant women. Two situations that are alluding me completely in a vicious chicken vs. egg cycle that keep both at bay.

We are running a 10K race next Saturday. Randy can do this in his sleep. Meanwhile I have peaked at 4.5 miles. And that’s with a good night’s rest, a breakfast made in a working kitchen, and not having moved all of my belongings two days before.

My business web site is 75% upgraded to the new version. Who had the brilliant idea to start that project this week?

Noah is still gnawing on his foot. We need a babysitter for him later in the month, but the only option (besides kennel) is to have him go by the people who wrecked his leg earlier this year.

Did I mention that I don’t have a single bag packed?!?

So I leave you with this message. It’s a message that will serve me well this week and always. Perhaps it will do the same for you.

Keep Calm & Carry On KansasMay we all continue soaring ever higher.
