In my short time in the wedding industry, I’ve had an opportunity to meet a lot of great event planners. There seems to be a planner for every budget and personality in the Milwaukee area. Today I’d like to showcase one group that I think you should investigate – Golden Chic Events.
Golden Chic Events is owned by Sara Dahmen, whose team includes Katie Carlson and Casey Flewellen. I first met Katie a couple months ago. She was warm and genuine right off the bat, as I have come to find all three women to be.

One feature of their business philosophy that stuck with me was that Sara has been known to have the couples over for home-cooked dinners both during and after the planning process. I love that! It is such is a special touch to get to know your clients as friends and treat them as family.
