I stumbled across this inspiration board from Glamour and Grace earlier today and have gone back to it again and again this afternoon. I love this color combination of the lightest pink and grayish, bluish green. Mix in the gold and it is the perfect combination for a February, March or April wedding.
I started playing around with the colors on Pinterest (follow me!) and found another great idea with this combination.
What do you think about adding in a poppy red? It now seems like the perfect combination for a wedding in Phoenix in early spring. (Please note that the pistachio macaroons made it into both boards. I think that’s on purpose. Those cookies are worth planning a wedding around!)
The gold and poppy dress up the traditional pastels making them more appropriate for a formal event like a wedding or a grown-up’s general attire. I’m going to figure out how to tie this into my everyday spring wardrobe.
